A Business Growth Thought Experiment - #3 - Clean Slate
"Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom."
– Aristotle
A fresh new year…
A fresh new season…
A fresh new month…
A fresh new week…
A fresh new day…
Sometimes we allow ourselves to clear the slate.
Then, it feels excitingly fresh for a minute.
Yes, it feels like it is a fresh new year, but it is still the old you.
Actually, you know how to clear the slate of the calendar, yet you have learned to keep it cluttered when it comes to your business growth.
Who is this 'old you'?
It's simply your own thought creation of who you really are.
But…
It's not who you really are.
We all immediately realize the truth: nobody can bathe in the water of a river twice.
The river is not the same. You are not the same.
Yet, we have learned to carry old versions of ourselves into new business seasons—as if success is about rearranging the past rather than stepping into something fresh.
What if you are a clean slate in business who just learned to think you are not?
What if you have innocently learned to keep carrying your image of yourself—and your business—into your fresh slate over and over again?
Who are you beyond the image, pictures, and words you have of yourself?
A Business Growth Thought Experiment
"You're under no obligation to be the same person you were 5 minutes ago."
― Alan Watts
Just for today…
What if you were under no obligation to show up in your business as the image, pictures, and words you have of yourself?
How would you approach business growth with a true clean slate—without letting the calendar dictate when things feel fresh?
Would you market your business differently? Would you create differently? Would you serve your clients in a whole new way?
Clean slate awakens
Beyond old self-images
Business blooms anew
Till next time, remember… Your brilliance is portable. You can take it with you anywhere and everywhere.
With all my love,
Ana
