Can AI Write Your Book?

Let’s start with a better question…

Should you let AI write your book?

No.

Your brilliant book should be yours.

Born from your expertise.
Shaped by your experience.
Infused with your way of seeing the world.

Here’s a Simple Business Thought Experiment… (15 seconds)

If I told you that the article you’re reading right now was written by AI — which it is NOT — would you continue reading?

Exactly.

AI is a tool.

It should never replace your brilliance.

The AI Disillusion Phase

Big promises have been made about AI.

And while there is real potential, it doesn’t exactly work the way many people claimed it would.

Right now, I believe we’re in the disillusion phase.

Instead of clarity and ease, many business owners are experiencing more chaos…
– Too many tools
– Too many opinions
– Too much noise
– Too few actual results

There is one thing we can be absolutely certain about…

AI has no human consciousness. And it never will.

It may become increasingly sophisticated.

It may simulate awareness.

But it will never possess human consciousness.

And that clarity allows us to make solid, grounded decisions.

My AI Journey

I jumped in early.

From day one, I wanted to understand what AI could really do.

Yes — I was the one who bought all the courses from the so-called “AI experts” …
… even though many of them were learning at the exact same time I was.

I could see the potential.

But not in the way it was being sold.

The biggest opportunity of AI is not that it can think for you.

It’s that it can imitate human language.

That changes everything.

For the first time, we can communicate with machines using natural human language.

I learned how to use computers before Windows existed. Back then, you had to learn exact commands to communicate with your machine.

Before my first computer, I used a typewriter.

Then Windows and Office arrived — and suddenly, using a computer felt like using your desk. Familiar. Intuitive. Human.

AI is another leap like that.

You don’t need to code.
You don’t need to learn a special language.
You just speak.

And that, in my opinion, is remarkable.

That also takes the pressure off.

No, you are not behind.
No, you don’t have to catch up with AI and every single thing that shows up every day.
No, you don’t need anything techie.

I’m also fascinated by how AI learns.

I’ve studied education. I’ve built curricula designed to help people learn faster and better.

Watching AI evolve month after month is extraordinary.

And yet… this is also where chaos almost pulled me in.

For a moment, I was tempted to chase every new tool.

I knew better.

So, I didn’t.

I stayed with stable models (there are fewer than you think). And I applied Ambitious Simplicity to AI.

How AI Can Help You with Your Book

Yes — AI can help you write a book.

And it will likely become even more helpful over time.

Here are some real, grounded ways AI can support your book…

– Research and validation
– Brainstorming and ideation
– Writing support (not writing for you)
– Technical and formatting help
– Editing assistance
– Marketing copy

And more to come, as the technology evolves.

How I Use AI For My Books

I have my own system to write and publish a Brilliant Book™ that can make my contribution seen, chosen and rewarded. Then, I put that book from day one to work for my business, before I even write my first word.

So, what I do with AI is simple…

I train the AI of my choice in my own system and in my own expertise.

So, every time I want to write a book, my AI is there as my Brilliant Book Assistant™.

This has been key in my business and for my books – not that you can actually separate them because each one of my books has contributed to the growth and scale of my business from day one.

It works with my framework.

My thinking.

My wisdom.

My expertise.

This is how I avoid generic answers, inaccuracies, and wasted time.

AI can only work with what it knows.

When you restrict the input to a reliable system, clarity replaces chaos.

I started sharing this non-techie approach with my clients — and they’ve been loving it.

For the first time ever, I have decided to include this training in the Brilliant Book™ Blueprint, so that you can also have your own AI Brilliant Book Assistant™ that knows you, your expertise and your business. (And no, it’s not a GPT or any kind of tool. You choose the AI you want to work with. You can do with any free level of the AI of your choice.)

OK. I got excited here because AI can revolutionize how you create and how you express your brilliance.

I want to leave you with a story…

NOTE OF INFINITE GRATITUDE – It’s a story by the brilliant Dr. Jorge Bucay, an Argentinian psychotherapist and writer whose work I deeply admire.

There was once a man who, after a life of hard work, pain, and struggle, died and found himself standing in a strange white place.

A man dressed all in white greeted him warmly and led him down a long hallway to a completely empty white room.

“I’m the butler,” the man said. “This is where you’ll be for the rest of eternity.”

The man looked around, confused. “But… there’s nothing here. Not even a bed.”

“Oh, don’t worry,” the butler smiled. “This place has incredible comfort. When you want a bed, all you have to do is think of it, and the bed will materialize.”

“That can’t be.”

“Give it a try.”

The man thought of a bed, and instantly, a bed appeared.

“But… what if I’m hungry?”

“You think of a table, think of what you want to eat, and whatever you want will materialize. It’s that easy. Everything you want — you just have to think of it, and it will appear.”

“Really? For me?”

“Of course. This is what you’ve earned.”

“Thank you so much.”

“It’s what you deserve. Anything you want. You want a painting? Imagine it, and it appears. You imagine me, and I’ll come to help you.”

And with that, the butler left.

The man couldn’t believe his good fortune. He was so grateful for the life he’d had.

He thought of a magnificent meal, and it appeared. He thought of a comfortable bed, and it materialized. He imagined an alarm clock, paintings on the wall, a window overlooking a beautiful garden — everything he thought of appeared before him.

For several weeks, he enjoyed this place immensely.

But then one day, something occurred to him.

He didn’t just want to eat a salad of fresh tomatoes. He wanted to plant the tomatoes. He wanted to grow them with his own hands and harvest what he himself had cultivated.

So, he began to imagine a small plot of earth in his room where he could plant beans. Tools. Seeds.

But nothing appeared.

No earth.
No tools.
No seeds.

He tried harder, really concentrating, but still nothing came.

Finally, he called the butler with his mind.

“I don’t know what’s happening,” he said. “I’m trying to imagine tools and seeds so I can plant tomatoes to eat.”

“Oh no,” the butler said. “You can think of tomatoes and you’ll have tomatoes on your table. But actually, planting them? No, that’s not possible here.”

“But I want to plant them with my own hands. I want to harvest them with my own hands. I want to work for them. Do you understand?”

“No,” the butler said. “Here, you don’t work. Here you can have anything you want. Everything you desire you can have. But work? No. There’s no work in this place.”

“But this is horrible! I can’t work on anything?”

“No. You can’t work.”

The man’s voice rose in desperation. “Then it would have been better to be in hell!”

The butler looked at him calmly and said…

“And where do you think you are?”

We Are Born to Create

I share this story because I think it speaks to something deep about being human.

We are not made to have everything handed to us at the push of a button.

We are made to create.

Some people are afraid of the creative process. They wish money would magically manifest instead of being the fruit of their brilliance. They wish their book would write itself at the push of a button so they could skip the messy, beautiful, sometimes frustrating process of bringing something into the world.

What if this were backwards?

The joy isn’t just in having the book.
The joy is in creating it.

The satisfaction isn’t just in the result. It’s in the journey of turning your expertise, your experience, your unique understanding into something that didn’t exist before – and be amazed in the process.

That’s what it means to be human. That’s what it means to be alive.

AI is a tool — a powerful one. It can help you research, organize, refine, and polish. But it cannot create for you.

And if it could, I wouldn’t want it to.

Because without the work, without the action, without the process of bringing our ideas into form — what we’d have is an empty room where everything appears at the snap of our fingers.

And eventually, we’d realize…

That’s not heaven.

That’s hell.

Till next time, remember… Your brilliance is portable. You can take it with you anywhere and everywhere, including creating your own expertise book.

With all my love,
Ana
